A superb coromandel games box with fantastic engraved gilt metal mounts, the top opening to a satinwood lined interior, the top tray with ivory chess pieces, backgammon pieces, ivory scorers, engraved brass cribbage board, dice and markers, this tray lifts out to reveal a coromandel and ivory folding games board for chess, draughts and backgammon, when removed, nine comparments are revealed for playing cards, counters and dice shakers, together with an engraved bezique scorer board. Inside the box is an engraved brass plaque with the retailers details, J. Bagshaw & Sons, Liverpool.
