A superb silver cabinet with panels of ivory to the top and all four sides, encrusted with shell, tortoiseshell, and other materials, the top panel decorated with a variety of flowers, whilst the four sides are decorated with various animals including chickens. crane, fish, kingfisher and doves, the interior of the door and the fronts of the drawers lacquered in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e on a dense nashiji ground.
