A superb large brass bound mahogany medicine chest by Savory & Moore, Chemists to the Royal Family, 136, New Bond Street and 220, Regent Street, London. The box is lined in red velvet and retains the majority of its original bottles and their contents, in the lower drawer are more bottles and containers, together with measuirng jug, mixing bowl, scales, litmus papers and a box inscribed Alterntive pills The Earl of Oxford 16th May 1849.
