An amusing ivory okimono of children playing round a statue of Emma-O, King of Hell, several of the children are shown playing with two puppies or being carried on their parents’ backs while others are clambering over a large statue of Emma-O, one of these climbs a ladder, while the bravest is balanced precariously in the god’s headdress and is reaching down to help him, signed on a red tablet.
