A beautiful okimono of a pair of courting doves on a gnarled rootwood stand, each dove naturalistically carved, with incised plumage, the eyes inlaid with mother-of-pearl and shakudo, set on bronze feet, one bird perched high on a branch peering down at the other, which is cocking its head to look up, both birds signed.

An enchanting ivory Okimono of a Bijin dancing, by Seiji, the courtly lady is shown twirling to the left with the long sleeves and hem of her kimono swirling round her, in her left hand she waves a fan inlaid with shibayama flowers and in her right she holds the stem of a large peony blossom, her elaborate coiffure embellished with a comb and a flower, incised textile patterns on the robes, signed Seiji.
