A fine Vizagapatam folding ivory and lacwork decorated chess and backgammon games board , one side with horn and ivory inlaid chess board, the borders with large detailed lacwork decoration with unusual designs not typical of Vizagapatam decoration of this period, the reverse with ivory and ebony inlaid backgammon board with detailed lacwork decorated borders.
The board shows signs of wear and the sun, but this is such a rare item, that I am happy to accept these slight imperfections.
