Not something that I get many of, but the examples of both book and stationery folders that I do are of the highest quality and show the levels would go to to cover both their paperwork and books.
A lot of the antique book and stationery folders that I find were made in Europe, India and the Far East and occassionaly the Middle East, with the odd example being made in England.
These folders come in various materials, including leather, papier mache, wood, sadeli work, inlaid wood, ivory inlaid pieces and sometimes in fine metal work.
If you are decorating a gentlemans study or library, then having these on display certainingly finishes the overall look.
Please check the website to see if you can find any great examples for sale or get in contact and we will try and locate an example for you.
