A 19th Century antique burr walnut ladies dressing case with makers stamp for W&J Milne, makers, 126 Princes St, Edinburgh, the top opening to reveal a purple velvet and leather lined interior containing eleven silver gilt topped bottles and containers, all stamped with makers mark HTB, together with two removable pads with a selection of mother of pearl tools, scissors, etc, the interior of the lid contains a removable mirror and blotting paper holder, the pop out drawer has a leathered writing surface under which is a jewellery compartment.
