A lovely bronze patinated and original ormolu clock of a well modelled winged cupid kneeling upon an ormolu base holding up an ormolu drum case surmounted by an ormolu mount of cupid’s trophies of love. The gilt dial with blued steel hands is surrounded by a fine ormolu bezel decorated with leaf and dart pattern. The thirty hour chain driven fusee movement with diamond endstone signed Charles Howse, London on the dust cover and Charles Howse London on the backplate of the movement and numbered.
