Â
A pair of William IV carved oak hall chairs in the manner of Thomas King, the escutcheon backs with vacant painted cartouches the legs and front rail with painted detail. Thomas King of Lincolns Inn Fields, produced furniture pattern books between 1829–1839. N.B. Minor structural differences vindicate that these chairs were made at slightly different dates, one perhaps to augment an existing set.
