ANTIQUE MINIATURE BONE CHESS TABLE & CHESS SET

A rare German carved bone 19th century miniature chess table and men. These fascinating miniature items were made in Geislingen, a noted German carving centre. A very similar example was on exhibition at the Schach Partie durch Zieten und Welten in the Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg, Germany.
