A very fine cased desk set in Chalcedony and the very finest gilt bronze comprising of a letter opener, seal and a pen. All in original velvet and silk lined leather case. The engraving on each piece of gilt bronze is outstanding.
The note inside the case reads ‘Chalcedony writing table set, from the collection of the Duke of St. Albans.’
