A charming antique red leather and silver gilt desk stand with a silver and glass inkbottle, two leather compartments with lift up lids for stamps and a pen groove to the front, all supported on small scroll feet to each corner.  The underneath of the stand is stamped in gold tooling, MADE IN ENGLAND and LEUCHARS & SON GEFFROY SUCC. PARIS. The silver on the stand is hallmarked for London 1904, with the makers mark WTB for William Thomas Bell. The inkbottle is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903, with the makers mark J.G&S for John Grinsell & Sons. The vast majority of the gilt has now worn away, with just remnants remaining on the feet.
