Birmingham 1907
Height: 2¾ inches / 7 cm
Diameter: 4.375 inches / 11 cm
Stock number: GR4812/0120
Price: SOLD
An early 20th century all silver clock inkwell with a pen rest to the front. The pocket watch, inscribed PERCY EDWARDS LTD, 71 PICCADILY, is held in a silver frame with a solid silver swing mechanism which allows it to lie flat, shutting the inkwell but simultaneously allowing the time to be seen, also to raise it at a 45 degree angle over the inkwell for easy viewing or back further still, clearing the inkwell completely. With hallmarks for Birmingham 1907 and slightly worn makers mark J. G & S for John Grinsell & Sons.
