An early 20th century silver and glass clock inkwell by J C Vickery, the Swiss made silver pocket watch by is held in a silver frame with a solid silver swing mechanism which allows it to lie flat, shutting the inkwell but simultaneously allowing the time to be seen, also to raise it at a 45 degree angle over the inkwell for easy viewing or back further still, clearing the inkwell completely. The inkwell is removable allowing access to a recess where the watch key is held. All the silver is hallmarked for London 1909 with the makers mark JCV for J C Vickery.
