A rare antique sailor’s woolwork picture of two British three masted warships, both flying the red ensign and red penants and under full sail, with three smaller ships to the front, one flying the red ensign and the other two flying the the French flag, on the left is a British shore battery with cannon and a beaded flagpole flying the Union flag, all in its original wooden frame with a gilt slip. A marvellous example, retaining its colour.
