Arthur Wilde Parsons was the son of a Bristol doctor, he painted seascapes in oil and watercolour. His brother was a clergyman who lived in Crantock, Cornwall………. with frequent visits he painted many scenes around this picturesque area. In 1908 he was a founder member of the Bristol Savages, a Society of fine arts, music, performing arts and poetry. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the RBA, Royal Institute and in Birmingham and Bristol. He is represented in Bristol City Art Gallery and Brighton Art Gallery.
