A lovely mid 20th century wooden framed silver plaque, showing a scene of a family feast, with people sitting around a table with food, people drinking, playing musical instruments, smoking and children playing. A charming scene. The piece is hallmarked and the marks are Dutch: the lion with the ‘1’ is for .925 silver and it was hallmarked in Schoonhoven in 1947/8 (the letter ‘M’).
