The HMY Victoria and Albert II – a 360-foot three masted paddle steamer launched 16th January 1855, she was the Royal Yacht for Queen Victoria until 1900 and was owned and operated by the Royal Navy and eventually scrapped c.1904. The Yacht is painted sailing out of Portsmouth Harbour at sunset, with the Royal Standard flying at her main mast with no doubt Queen Victoria on board. On the left HMS Victory at anchor and the Semaphore Tower building and sailing barge on the right.
