A 20th century German Meissen porcelain bust type chess set after a model by J.J. Kaendler, one side depicted in pale green, the other in plain white, both heightened overall in gilt decoration, each piece numbered 29 on the undersides in red and with the Meissen blue crossed swords mark. The white and green Queen with an additional stamp to the base 139 60701.
