An antique Derby porcelain figure known as cupid in disguise-the girl with a hurdy-gurdy, painted with enamels and gilded. Cupid in a bonnet, standing and playing a hurdy-gurdy, and wearing only a white frill on the wrists and a cloth round the waist, and she is supported by a green stump on a gilt scrolled base.Â
Restoration to top of bonnet and one wing tip.
