An antique Derby porcelain figure known as Winter from the set know as ‘The four grotesque seasons’. Modelled as a boy standing wearing a brimmed hat, jacket and breeches, holding a spoon shaped container filled with burning charcoal in his left hand over which he warms his right. Incised to base 47.
