A pair of antique Derby porcelain figures known as The Garland Shepherds. The shepherd is standing wearing a brimmed hat, jacket and breeches, alongside him a seated dog, with his right hand on his hip and holding a letter in his outstretched left hand. The companion shepherdess stoops to place a garland about the neck of the ewe that has its front legs upon her knee. Mounted upon mound bases edged with scrolls, before small, waist high bocages.
