A lovely antique Grand Tour bronze figure of a Roman Centurion, standing cross legged with his right hand resting at his side and his left arm raised and holding a scroll in his hand. Wearing a full length robe draped over one shoulder and with a sword at his waist. A dark brown patination rubbed through in places to provide lovely highlights. All mounted on a stepped black marble base.
