A lovely late 19th century Art Nouveau patinated bronze head and shoulders figure of a a young woman, her hair is plaited and covered by a green and brown headpiece, she is wearing an of the shoulder green dress with a brown shawl and this is on a lovely shaped marble base. The figure is signed E. Rousselet and at this time I have been unable to find any information on this sculptor, other than one other piece was sold some time ago, which seems strange seeing the quality of the workmanship. Hopefully, now this is on the web, other figures may emerge and more information may come to light.
