An antique Irish silver tankard of fine quality. The tapering cylindrical body of the tankard is decorated with two bands of trailing flowers, with matching decoration to the domed hinged cover and the outside of the S scroll handle. The underside of the tankard is inscribed ‘To George Elliott FROM HIS COMRADES W Campbell, H StJohn Mildmay, J C Knox, R W Dallas.’  Hallmarked Dublin 1868, there is a makers mark which is difficult to read. 32 oz.
