A very attractive baluster vase by Taizan, delicately painted in coloured enamels and gilding with two continuous fields of decoration, the neck with red, white and blue irises against spiky leaves above an irregular band of floral fretwork, the body with fine kiku against scrolling foliage, all within floral trellis borders, the base signed in black and impressed Dai Nihon Taizan sei.
