A charming mid-19th century book of recipes for the home and person, inscribed on the frontpiece Charles Waite, 13th February 1852. The book contains over 180 pages of various recipes for the home and person, such as how to make ink, rat poison, pastles, hair treatment, French polish, etc. Far to many to list here, but hours of fun reading how they expected to treat various conditions and produce solutions for use around the home.
