A superb mahogany striking drop dial clock by Ignatius Brunner, convex glass face to a 12 inch original enamel dial and movement signed with date 1846, striking on the hour, the dial surround is octagonal and the trunk has the original carved ears and glazed pendulum door,the bottom of the case is curved to the wall with a locked access door, the dial signed ‘I Brunner, Edgbaston, Birmingham‘
Ignatius Brunner was a quality maker working in Edgbaston St, Birningham between 1835 and 1854.
