ANTIQUE DUDSON STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE
Circa 1840
Height: 9¾ inches / 24.8 cm
Stock number: JB7225/117
Price: SOLD
A fine Dudson Staffordshire figure of what we think is a woman standing on a circular base with gilt line decoration, her right arm is extended out with her hand open, her left hand holds a sword at her side, she is wearing a plumed helmet, a cape over her right shoulder, short knee length tunic with a long sash tied round her middle and a pair of calf length boots. Once again, we cannot find any record of this figure in any reference books and would welcome feedback as to who she (or possibly he) might be.
