A George III mahogany display cabinet of rare dwarf size, comprising a single door, astragal glazed, shelved showcase, above a two-drawer base raised on splayfeet.
The charming proportion of this piece might indicate a special commission for a favoured child, perhaps to store and display special treasures and books. Curiously the upper case shows evidence of once having a lifting handle to the top.
