A late 19th century Louis XVI style, French, cartel clock (a cartouche shaped clock designed to hang directly on a wall), the circular white enamel dial with roman numerals, Arabic 5 minute markers and pierced engraved hands inset a shaped gilt bronze case, surmounted by an urn and hung with swags of garrya, the sides and front with blind fret panels, the eight day movement with Brocot suspension rack, striking the hour and half-hour on a bell.
