A beautifully made Victorian oak and silver plated tea caddy in the form of a coal scuttle by Henry Bourne. There are two shields fitted to the scuttle on either side, with one engraved ‘Presented to Mr J. C. F. Dance on his marriage 7th Feb ’96 by the Castle Cooke Cricket Club’. A delightful piece, in superb condition, no damage. The plating in excellent condition, with minimal wear. This also has an associated silver caddy spoon which fits in the holder to the rear of the caddy and dates to 1843, made in Birmingham by Francis Clark.
