An early 20th century silver and glass clock inkwell by John Grinsell & Sons, the Swiss made silver pocket watch, with a flower decorated dial and a beautifully engraved case, is held in a silver frame with a solid silver swing mechanism which allows it to lie flat, shutting the inkwell but simultaneously allowing the time to be seen, also to raise it at a 45 degree angle over the inkwell for easy viewing or back further still, clearing the inkwell completely. All the silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the makers mark J. G & S for John Grinsell & Sons. Also stamped with the registration number Rd 476070.
