VINTAGE BRASS MODEL OF KIMS CANNON
A good 20th Century brass model of the Zamzama gun, also known as Kim’s gun or Bhangianwala toap, on a wooden base. The original gun was cast in 1757 and was one of the largest ever made in the sub continent. Once decommissioned it returned to Lahore where it now stands in the square outside the Lahore Museum. It came to be known as Kim’s Gun after Rudyard Kipling in whose childhood memoirs it obtained frequent mention.
