ISSAC WALTER JENNER
Issac Walter Jenner was a marine painter. Born in Godalming, Surrey, or Seaford, Sussex. He served in the Royal Navy and lived in Brighton from 1865. He exhibited one work ‘Sunset on the Beach, Brighton’, at the RA in 1874. In 1883 he immigrated to Brisbane, Australia, where he was instrumental in the founding of the Queensland Art Society and the Queensland National Gallery.
