Robert Chailloux is considered by many to be one of the finest still life painters of the twentieth century. Highly reputed and his work sought after, Chailloux studied at the school of imperial design Paris. Exhibited at the salon of French artists and the salon des Baux Arts. Awards include Prix des Comite- Salon d’Hiver, Prix Vuillaume- Bois Colombes, Prix de la Ville, Saint Raphael, Medaille d’agent, Medaille d’or and Prix du Pablic and many more.
Prominent exhibitions: The Hermitage in Leningrad and Pouchkine in Moscow, also permanent exhibitions in the collection of the Ville de Paris.
