A well coloured pair of Staffordshire figures of Mrs Siddons as “Lady MacBeth” and John Philip Kemble as “Hamlet”. He is standing in a round hat with three plumes, tunic, short trunks and hose. There is a cloak over both shoulders which is edged in ermine. A broad ribbon passes from his right shoulder across his tunic. He holds a skull in his left hand, to which he points with his right index finger. She stands crowned, wearing an ermine-edged cloak over a long dress, a handkerchief or cloth in her left hand, her right hand over her right breast.Â
