Rare Victorian Staffordshire titled figure of “Winters Tale” – Jenny Marston as ‘Perdita‘ and Frederick Robinson as ‘Florizel‘. This is one of a series of seven Shakespearian figures based on engravings in Tallis’ Shakespeare Gallery. Each figure bare-headed, stand in front of a tree trunk holding hands. ‘Perdta’ wears a low-cut double-skirted dress with a tie belt and garland of roses on the skirt. ‘Florizel’ is wearing a long belted tunic, hose and shoes.
